Real Techniques Brushes

Here I have the Real techniques brushes

On the left I have the Blush brush in pink and on the right I have the Expert Face brush in orange. I do not even know where to begin because these brushes deserve nothing less than praise. Samantha Chapman (Pixiwoo on YouTube ) has  really has nailed it with her brush line.

If you have never bought her brushes before I really recommend the blush brush and expert face brush (available at boots) . They are one of the softest brushes I own. They clean very easily and do not shed; they are a pleasure to use every time. They come in different beautiful colours but still look classy and pretty which add life to your collection especially if you display your brushes on your vanity. They are a must have for travelling as recently I travelled abroad and had to do my makeup on the plane. I just stood them straight on the table as they have a round surface which makes life so much easier.

The expert face brush can be used for creams, powders and liquids. It makes any light coverage product apply absolutely flawlessly. It blends the product into your skin effortlessly leaving a flawless finish on the skin. However it still creates a natural effect as if you have not applied much product on the skin. I even use this to blend my concealer to create a flawless but natural effect.

The blush brush is equally the same. I use this brush to powder, to bronze, to apply blush and to highlight. It has a tapered shape which makes it easier. When contouring and bronzing, as you move it back and forth the brush blends the product in for you making your makeup process so much quicker and effortless.

What makes the single brushes even better is the price. Retailing at £9.99 each (some are around £8) it is very affordable, makes a great present and also is perfect if you have started to collect makeup and want to expand your collection.

Overall I love the brushes and they are worth every penny. Definitely a must have!

Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil

Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil

Containing Olive and Jojoba oils and Ginger Root Extract!

I absolutely adore this product. I bought this last year round winter time, used it a couple times and then started to neglect it as I bought other products to test out. I have recently started using it again and I questioned myself as to why I stopped using it in the first place. It is the best makeup remover I have EVER tried.
This 200ml product aims to last you 6 months if used everyday but I have to say it lasts longer. You only need one pump and it will take off all your makeup including waterproof mascara.
I have EXTREAMLY sensitive skin and so a lot of cleansers either make my skin really red or irritated however this is so gentle that it feels like your applying your moisturiser on. Without any struggle it removes every once of makeup leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth and healthy.
I think it is suitable for all skin types as when your finished applying this, as instructed ,wash off with cold water. It does not leave your skin oily or leave a sticky feeling on the skin but leaves it feeling fresh.
Retailing at £29.50 it is pricy however it is worth every penny and you get your money out of it (if you get what I mean). Overall I think that it is a fantastic product which leaves your skin feeling healthy , moisturised and soft.
( due to the olive and jojoba oils and ginger root extract).

How to get perfectly soft and smooth lips!

We all know its winter when our lips are dry , chapped and often cracked.

In these months it is time to amp up the lip care routine and take care of them!

#TipNo1 :Exfoliate! I cannot live without exfoliating it makes a big difference . If your a Barbie on a budget, then you don't have to go all out and buy a lip scrub but you only need sugar and your toothbrush(you can even use your face scrub! ) place sugar on to your lips and rub for about a minute or simply use the sugar as your paste and brush your lips! You will then achieve nice soft and smooth lips!

TipNo2: Moisturise! - After exfoliating it is vital you moisturise ,you have just taken of all the dead skin and revealed new so a good moisturiser is important, sleep with it on and wake up in the morning and you’ll see the results. I recommend Maybelline baby Lips or Vaseline !

TipNo3 - If you don't really take care of your lips and don't moisturise often or just have really dry lips STAY AWAY from matte Lipsticks as they can be very drying and could contribute to having chapped lips. Instead go for more moisturising lipsticks or lip glosses. The Clinique butter shine lipsticks are Amazing! Or the Revlon lip butters are also very good!

#BonusBarbieTip - In the winter months we love to be cosy and warm and snuggle up against radiators , fan heaters , the fire place and so are surrounded by heat very much and that can be very damaging to our lips , believe it or not we need SPF in the winter too . Sitting around heat for too long can cause ageing to the lips in the long run and also dry's out the skin, that's why lovelies never forget your sunscreen. If you keep forgetting, try getting lip products which include SPF #problemSolved!
